Hi! We have stayed at the value resorts but decided to try Yacht Club this year. I have a 6 year old and 3 year old both girls. Did I make a good choice? Is there enough to do for them. Also I hear its more for adults?? Thanks

    Hello, Kevin,

I wouldn't have a second thought about making a reservation at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.  It is resort with an incredible location with its short walk to Epcot and (longer) walk and/or boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  It also has the prime spot of being located right next to Disney's Beach Club Resort as well as its close proximity to all the evening activities at Disney's Boardwalk. You are literally getting triple the fun, entertainment, dining, and recreation!  But what really makes this resort amazing is its pool: Stormalong Bay. This pool is essentially a small water park as it covers over 3 acres, has a large sand bar/beach that is perfect for children to play on, a lazy river, a sand bottom pool, and many activities throughout the day at the pool.  Our own Disney Mom Erin wrote a comprehensive article on the pool that I think will help to make you erase any doubts you have about staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. If you do an internet search for Get to Know Stormalong Bay: The Yacht and Beach Club Pool Area by Erin Foster, you should find the article easily.

If you find you have more questions about the resort, please don't hesitate to let us know.  Wishing you a wonderful trip!
