Stayed at POR 2 years ago, but to save money, we are at Pop this December. We are paying for a refrigerator, doing garden grocery for a few things, and thinking of mailing down a coffee pot. Will 2 adults, 2 kids, and all this stuff fit in the room?

    Hi Michelle,
You will all fit in the room although it'll be cozy quarters while you are there! The biggest downside for us are the small, double beds at Pop Century. Port Orleans Riverside rooms are 314 sq feet while Pop Century accommodations are 260 sq ft. Since you were at Riverside, two years ago, you had double beds there as well. Riverside is currently renovating rooms which includes the addition of queen size beds.

The coffee pot can be placed on top of the fridge or TV stand/dresser. The counter in the bathroom would probably not have enough space to accommodate this appliance. I would place the fridge in the closet area near the bathroom vanity although I'm not sure it would reach the electrical outlet. Otherwise, you could put it in the corner near the window and table. There is an outlet beneath the table!

I would get a quote on the shipping cost of the coffee pot (especially if it's going to make a round-trip journey) since you may be able to purchase refillable mugs for equal value and this would then give you refills on coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and Coca-Cola products for the duration of your stay.

If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your room, you can make it work! Have a wonderful vacation!
