We stayed at POP for the first time this Sept. Have stayed at the AllStar resorts and POFQ before. We had very crowded buses at POP, it seemed like we always had to stand. I am planning next vaca. and would like to know if this is common for POP transport.

Hi Regina!

My son and I are big fans of Walt Disney World Transportation. We pride ourselves about being able to get anywhere in all of Walt Disney World using some form of Disney Transportation! It is really wonderful not to worry about driving when you are on vacation but that being said, I have rented a car for my last two trips to gain to ability of getting to the parks more quickly. I have stayed at the Pop Century Resort twice and have experienced crowded, standing room only buses many times. How crowded the bus is depends on what time of day that you are using the bus service. If you are trying to get to the park first thing or leave after a night time fireworks show, then the wait will be longer and the bus probably will be standing room only. If you travel in the middle of the day, the bus may be almost empty.

Even though I rent a car I have found that it is still faster to use the Disney Bus Service when you are traveling to the Magic Kingdom because it drops you off at the front gate. If you choose to rent a car or drive your own car and you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, then parking is free at all of the Walt Disney World Resorts on Property (keep in mind that you need an Advanced Dinning Reservation to park your car at a Resort other than the one you are staying at) and at all of the Parks.
