we have stayed at the polynesina and are now booked for the art of antimation are we making a mistake by not staying on the mono rail? we are a family of 6 3 adults 1 7yr old, 1 5yr old and 1 4yr old all girls and do not know where to stay.

    Hi Danielle!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

While both Walt Disney World Resort hotels have a lot to offer, with wonderful theming, and all the special touches a Disney resort has to offer, if you are making your decision solely on transportation options, Disney's Polynesian Resort is very conveniently located, with buses, boats, and the monorail all on hand.  As you have stayed there before, you already know what a beautiful resort this is, and you have the Magic Kingdom park right on your doorstep.

There is also something very special about staying in a brand new Disney resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort and to be one of first guests to experience this amazing place.  The theming is outstanding, based on four favourite movies - Finding Nemo, The Lion King, Cars, and The Little Mermaid, and there are family suites to sleep up to six guests available in all locations except The Little Mermaid. Your young family would be sure to love this place, from all that I have heard and seen, it is quite special!  The transport from this resort is by bus, but this route will not be shared with any other resorts.

If there are any other considerations that I can help with, before you make your decision, please send me a direct question and I'll be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
