I see that you stayed at the Polynesia last summer. We will be there in February and would like room recommendations. We are traveling with our 7 year old granddaughter and want something close to the main pool and transportation. Recommendations?

    Hi Susan!!

Thank you so much for the direct question!!  I absolutely loved my stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort!!  It was my first time staying there, but definitely won't be my last!!

I stayed in the Rarotonga Longhouse which is right next to the Great Ceremonial House (where the lobby and Monorail are located.)  The Bus Stop is also only about a three minute walk from this longhouse.  My room was on the third floor and overlooked the Monorail line!  My four year old loved standing out on the balcony and watching the Monorail go by!!  The Rarotonga Longhouse is only a four to five minute walk to the Volcano Pool Area.  Lastly, it is about a seven to ten minute walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center to catch the Monorail to Epcot.  All in all I thought this was a wonderful location to be in the middle of everything at Disney's Polynesian Resort!!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!!

    Have a magical day!!
