Hi! We have stayed at the Poly 4 times before and love it! However, on this trip we are trying out Port Orleans Riverside for a change of scenery. We would still like to drive over and eat at Captain Cook's once. Will we be allowed to park at the Poly?

Hi there, Jennifer! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are rapidly approaching your stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and I know you must be very excited! It is a gorgeous Disney Resort hotel and I think you will really like the beautiful theme there.

I definitely understand why you want to head over to Capt. Cook's for a meal. Last time I dined there, I ordered the Polynesian Salad with Chicken and it became an instant favorite of mine! I spoke with a Cast Member just now who told me that the parking fees at Disney Resort hotels are for overnight Guests only. She assured me that Guests wishing to dine at a location like Capt. Cook's can do so for up to three hours complimentary. Your vehicle will be registered by the parking attendant when you arrive, but just let that person know you will only be dining at Capt. Cook's and not staying overnight.

If you decide to use the complimentary Walt Disney World transportation instead, you can take a bus from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Magic Kingdom Park, then hop on the Resort monorail to travel over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

Enjoy your upcoming vacation, Jennifer! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
