Stayed @ Music suite x1 and want Riverside in June.Family of 6, 2 teens/8yr old. What's the best room? Like the plantation side but don't want it loud at night. Want updated rooms and need a trundle. Any tips on bus system? Read it's a headache there.Thnks!

    Hi Liza!

Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter are my two favorite Disney Moderate Resorts.  I think the other Disney Moderate Resorts are too large and complicated to get around, especially if you don't have a car.  It is true that the bus service (and getting to a bus in the first place) is generally harder at Riverside than French Quarter, in my opinion, but I prefer Riverside the best.

The Acadian House and Magnolia Terrace rooms have been recently refurbished.  However, all of the rooms in the Magnolia Bend section are scheduled to be refurbished before your trip in June.  Personally, I think the Parterre Place rooms are the quietest in the Magnolia Bend section.

However, I prefer the Alligator Bayou section of the resort and I think it is, generally speaking, more quiet there.  Also, you will be able to get a trundle bed in the Alligator Bayou section.  Except for Buildings 25, 35, 26, and 34, the rest should be refurbished by the time you visit in June.  The quietest buildings are 24 and 25.  However, I prefer and recommend staying in 14, 15, 18, or 27.  They are close to the main building, food court, and the main pool area.
