I have stayed at both Moderate and Deluxe Resorts and am going to be staying at a Value Resort this time. We will be at Pop Century in late May/early June. I am curious as to the differences between a value resort and the others. Thanks!

    Hi, Angela!

Pop Century is my favorite Value Resort. My family likes the 50's building (standard room) and we request a pool or water view (I know, can you believe you can get a great view at a Value Resort in a standard room? That's Disney magic for you!)

Here are some features that you will find at Moderate and/or Deluxe resorts that you will NOT get at a Value resort:

-Queen beds (vs. double beds in Value. All resort types offer king beds)
-Water Slide in the main pool
-Hot tub in the pool area
    -Bigger resort rooms
    -Table Service restaurant
    -Better quality linens and towels
-Interior hallways to resort rooms (Deluxe)
    -Room service options (Deluxe)
-Alternate forms of transportation to the parks and Disney Springs:  boat, monorail, walk (depending on resort)
-Covered bus stops at the resorts

What you will find regardless of where you stay will be the same online check-in process, MagicBands and the ability to book FastPass+ 60 days prior to arrival, complimentary Magical Express, free transportation around property, and that all important Disney magic 24/7. My family has stayed at almost every resort on property, and have never been disappointed by any of them, including Value resorts. One very important tip for Pop Century: Make sure to try the Tie Dye cheesecake at Everything Pop - this will be the icing on the cake for your trip!  Enjoy!
