We stayed in the Jamaica section of the Caribbean Beach resort in 2017. At that time Jamaica was the first bus stop. Now I've read that it is either the last bus stop or next to last. Can you tell me the order of the stops now?

Hi Frances, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's help you do a little island hopping, Disney-style!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my absolute favorites. The relaxing, laid-back feel, bright colors, and tropical touches make you feel like you've been transported to the islands. Plus, some of the main areas have recently gone through a redesign that have them looking ship-shape and good to go!

Since the reimagining of this Resort hotel began, there have been some changes to the bus service. When my family stayed in the Jamaica village this past November, we experienced the buses traveling from the main entrance around to serve Martinique, Old Port Royale and Barbados first, then to the Jamaica and Aruba villages before u-turning and heading back out. So during our stay, our stop at Jamaica was one of the last two stops on the route. A couple of times, when coming back from the Parks, we hopped off at Old Port Royale and just walked across the bridge to Jamaica.

Frances, we found it really helpful to use the bus arrival feature on the My Disney Experience app when we stayed here. We could check when the next bus bound for our destination was due at our village before even leaving the room. It was a real time-saver for us.

Also, later this year a new way to get around Walt Disney World will take flight with the Disney Skyliner! It will serve the Caribbean Beach Resort, so keep an eye out for more details!

I hope this helps you plan your visit to the islands, Frances. Please do stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
