Kristina,
I can completely understand your wish to find someplace super convenient in the location department. I have a couple of suggestions for you.
First, I would recommend
Disney's Polynesian Resort, which is also on the monorail line. You'll be transported to the laid-back islands of the Pacific. The rooms are some of the most spacious on property and the restaurants at this resort offers some of the most unique dining experiences. Not only that, but in the evening you can view Wishes, the fireworks show at Magic Kingdom from the beach.
My next suggestion would be
Disney's Beach Club Resort. This has become one of my favorite resorts. I recently stayed there with my family this summer and my kids loved Stormalong Bay, the multi-acre pool featuring a shipwreck waterslide, zero-entry sand bottom pool and lazy river. The rooms are wonderfully appointed with the feel of those seaside resorts of New England. Now, for the best part, this hotel is within walking distance to Epcot's International Gateway entrance nestled between the United Kingdom and France pavilions of World Showcase. It took my family no more than about 5-8 minutes to walk at a casual pace. You can also walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios. However, that walk is a bit longer taking anywhere from 15-25 minutes, depending on the heat of the day and pace of your family. In fact, one day, my husband and boys walked it while my daughter and I took the boat. They actually beat us! So, as you can see, convenience can be among the many amazing things this resort has to offer.
As you planning continues, I'd love to offer my tips and suggestions for any other questions that may come up. Have a magical day.
