Hi Jaynee,
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How wonderful to be planning your 25th anniversary trip to Walt Disney World!
I am glad to hear that you are considering a deluxe studio for your trip. I find the deluxe studios to be great. I like that they include kitchenettes as we like to keep some groceries in our accommodations for breakfast and snacking throughout the day. We also like the ability to fold up the sleeper sofa to have a couch to sit on during the day when we are spending time in our villa.
I have slept on the sleeper sofas in Disney Vacation Club deluxe studios, and I have found them to work well for me. I generally sleep well at Walt Disney World because I am tired from all of the fun that I am having! Of course the sleeper sofas are different from a bed; however, I have always been happy with the night of rest that I am able to get on one.
If you are concerned about the size of the sleeper sofa, the sleeper sofas at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa as well as Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are queen-size, where at the other resorts they are double- or full-size. When
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge opens, it will also feature queen-size sleeper sofas. If you are concerned about sleeping on a sleeper sofa, check out the deluxe studios at
Disney's Old Key West Resort. These offer two beds instead of a bed and a sleeper sofa.
After staying at a Disney Vacation Club resort, you may want to explore if
Disney Vacation Club membership is right for you. If you decide to become a member, it will be truly magical the first time you hear those words, "Welcome Home!"
