We have stayed on Disney property before (Wilderness Lodge, Port Orleans). We are planning a trip March 2011 and decided to stay at the Board Walk. I'm kind of worried about making a mistake. Will it be loud and very hectic around the property? Thanks.

Hi Vicki! I recently stayed at Disney's Boardwalk Resort and it was very quiet! It was neat to walk out of the hotel and down to actual Boardwalk where all of the shops and restaurants are. There is a lovely shop where you can get coffee in the morning and sit outside next to the water which what my friend and I did every morning. It has my favorite bonus of being able to walk to the World Showcase entrance of Epcot! In my experience this entrance is usually calmer and much more picturesque. But the Resort itself felt tranquil and quiet...a wonderful retreat after a day in the Parks! I wouldn't worry about your choice being a mistake; the Boardwalk Resort is beautiful! I hope that you have a wonderful time in March!

Hi Vicki!

I recently stayed at Disney's Boardwalk Resort and it was very quiet!

It was neat to walk out of the hotel and down to actual Boardwalk where all of the shops and restaurants are. There is a lovely shop where you can get coffee in the morning and sit outside next to the water which what my friend and I did every morning. It has my favorite bonus of being able to walk to the World Showcase entrance of Epcot! In my experience this entrance is usually calmer and much more picturesque.

But the Resort itself felt tranquil and quiet...a wonderful retreat after a day in the Parks! I wouldn't worry about your choice being a mistake; the Boardwalk Resort is beautiful!
