I stayed at the Contemporary resort the last time I visited WDW; however, I wasn't thrilled about the transportation from my hotel to AK, EPCOT, or HS because our bus stopped at the POLY and GF first on the way. Is this the case at Ft. Wild. Lodge too?

Busses on the Wilderness Lodge route also stop at Polynesian and Grand Floridian.

After you are picked-up at your resort, you will make stops at both the Polynesian and Grand Floridian before heading to your destination.  On the bright side, when dropping off, Wilderness Lodge is the hotel the bus drivers stop at first, so you'll be the first one OFF the bus!

Happily, this won't be an issue for you when traveling to the Magic Kingdom.  To visit the Magic Kingdom, you can use the boat from the dock (take the Red Flag boat) that will drop you off right in front of the park.

I hope you have a better experience with the transportation on your next trip!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
