Have stayed at CBR (Martinique bld) and love it! It is close to pool/dining/bus stop there, but we are thinking of staying at CS next time. Do you recommend this resort over CBR with 6 kids instead, and if so, which section/building should we request?

    Hi Andrea,

Well, it is always fun to try new resorts at Walt Disney World. My family stayed at Coronado Springs a few years back when we went with our extended family and a few friends and we loved it. The theming is a bit more subdued compared to Caribbean Beach Resort and I do prefer the pool of Caribbean Beach Resort over the one at Coronado Springs. However, I enjoyed the food choices and variety better at Pepper Market at Coronado Springs better than Old Port Royale at Caribbean Beach Resort. Again, these are just my opinions. We did love both resorts and didn't have a bad experience at either one.

If you do decide on trying Coronado Springs, I would recommend Building 1 in the Casitas or Building 9B in the Cabanas to be closest to El Centro (front desk, guest services, main bus stop) and the dining locations. If you would like to be closest to the pool, then I would suggest requesting Building 8A in the Cabanas. This building is also closest to the bus stop between the Cabanas and Ranchos. However, it would be about a 5 minute walk to El Centro and dining locations such as Pepper Market and Maya Grill. Please remember that requests cannot be guaranteed and are based on availability.

    Happy Planning,
