    We stayed at the Caribbean Beach last year and the tweens loved going down and getting their own drinks, especially the hot chocolate. We have reservations this year at Coronado Springs. Does CS have self serve hot chocolate? The online info says no.

    The last time I stayed at Coronado Springs, I do remember them having hot chocolate. It was not a hot chocolate machine, but they had the powder packets and hot water was available.  Now things are always changing, so they may have installed (or fixed!) the hot chocolate dispenser.  At the least, I have seen the powder chocolate packets and you just mixed it yourself. 

    When my kids are counting on something, I usually have a back-up plan. This one is easy - before leaving home, pick-up a box of hot chocolate packets (usually under $2 for a box of 10 packets at the grocery store) and toss them in your suitcase as they will hardly take up any room.  If (and I really doubt there will be a problem) there is a hot chocolate shortage, they can use their own packets and fill up with the water at the beverage station where the water is piping hot. 

    I hope it all works out!  I love Coronado Springs, especially the fantastic pool area.  Have fun and good luck getting your tasty hot chocolate.
