Hi Melanie!
I am so glad to hear that your first Disney trip was a "swimming" success! Our family loves the Caribbean Beach Resort and its pool area! I have little ones too and love that they have a special area to splash around in. While all of the Disney Resorts have amazing pools, there are a few that my family finds particularly fantastic, especially for traveling with young ones.
The "Alice in Wonderland" Water Play Area is a new feature at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and was just opened this past fall. Water overflows and pours from teacup to teacup, there are small slides, and also, small water hoses to spray and play with.
The Observation Station at Uwanja Camp at the
Samawati Springs Pool of Disney's Animal Kingdom Village--Kidani Villiage is wonderful for kids 4 and younger. Here kids can climb through obstacles, play with puzzles and dance through a gently bubbling geyser.
Lastly, I would recommend
Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club Resorts. This pool, shared by the two resorts compares to a water park area and has over 3 acres of "aquatic fun for the whole family." Your daughter will enjoy the sand bottomed pool and kiddie area complete with a mini-slide.
I hope these ideas give you a few options to look into while planning your next magical adventure. Please float back by if there is anything else I can help you with.
Have a wonderful vacation!
Lauren
