When we stayed at AOA (December 2012), we just happened to see fireworks from our room facing the lake that separates AOA from Pop. We're planning another trip (August) and wondering if that was normal and which fireworks we might have seen. Thanks!

    Hi Kristin,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  How exciting that you are booking another vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, congratulations!  I always love when we get a surprise viewing of fireworks at our resort, I think it make the vacation even more magical!  The fireworks that you would have seen would be EPCOT's IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.  It completely normal for guests staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort to catch a glimpse of these fireworks, if in the right location.  I have found that the best spot to view IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is on the bridge between Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort, however, if you are lucky enough to catch them from your room, that is even better!

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort in August Kristin.  Please let me know if you have any other questions while planning, I would be happy to help!
