We will be on our way for our stay at Ft. Wilderness in 2 weeks. Are the pools there open year round?? Are they heated???

Hi Sherri! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of the great things about the Walt Disney World Resort is that they really tailor the experience to their guests. It is my opinion that they really think about what will make guests happy and comfortable.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is my idea of “glamping”! I love that I am surrounded by beautiful forest filled with wildlife such as armadillos, deer, and ducks, but it also has all of the comforts of home. The trails are a favorite place of mine to explore and I love to eat at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.

The pools are open all year round (unless of course there is an issue or maintenance is required.) All Disney Parks pools are heated all year round. They usually are at the 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Even if the air is cool, you may find yourself having tons of fun exploring the pool and water play areas!
    Have a splashtastic vacation!
