We want to stay at wilderness lodge, have two teens ages 13 &15. Wondering if bunks beds are big enough?

From the reports that I’ve read and from climbing in a bunk once to snuggle with my son, the bunk beds are probably best for those under 5’3” - 5’5” or so. I am under those measurements and could fit fine.

But since I wasn’t sure, I called the Wilderness Lodge and a wonderful Cast Member sought out the answer for me. Drum roll….

The bunk bed mattresses are standard twin size.

I researched and most college dorms have long twin mattresses that are 80 inches in length which is 5 inches longer than the standard twin. Queen and King mattresses are also 80 inches long.

Ultimately it will depend more on your children’s height than their age. I hope this helps!
