    If you stay at a WDW resort, can you choose any magic band that gets mailed to u for staying or do you have to a get the solid color one?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

    For now, the MagicBands that you'll receive prior to your stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel are the solid colour ones, and not the "character" MagicBands that are for sale at various merchandise locations and online at the Disney Store. I just logged in to My Disney Experience, and the colours that seem to be available as of right now are: yellow, blue, pink, red, orange, grey and green.

    Don't forget to customize your family's MagicBands as soon as possible! "Character" MagicBands can't get personalized with your name underneath the band, although several cool personalized designs are available at Retail MagicBand on Demand locations. Choosing the name to put underneath my MagicBand is probably one of my favourite "pre-arrival" parts of each visit to Walt Disney World Resort - Don't be afraid to be creative!
