How much would it be to stay at Walt Disney World from August 19 to August 21 of 2025

    Hi Tonya,

    Welcome to planDisney!

We are delighted to see you planning a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort! There are several pieces of information that are needed to accurately price out a trip to Disney - number of guests, ages of any children traveling, and type of resort. I recommend using the vacation planning tools on the Walt Disney World® website or calling to speak to one of our wonderful cast members to actually price out your vacation. They will be better able to help you, especially since it may be helpful for you to do price comparisons of a few different resort hotels!

I also suggest that you take a look at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels to decide which type of resort hotel you would prefer. My family loves deluxe and deluxe villa resort hotels that have multiple transportation options, especially those that are within walking distance to one or more theme parks. Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa both are within walking distance to Magic Kingdom and have access to Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation. When I have done shorter trips like yours, I have also enjoyed Disney's Art of Animation and Disney's Pop Century Resorts. These resort hotels have access to the Disney Skyliner as well as Walt Disney World® Bus Service.

Also, keep an eye on the Special Offers. These are updated periodically and may provide some discounts on select resorts during various times of year. Once we decide which resort hotel and the type of room we prefer, I try to make a reservation at least six months in advance. Then, I make note of our advance dining reservation booking window so that I can make dining reservations as soon as that booking window opens.

Tonya, when I planned our first two trips to Disney, I used a local travel agency and they were very helpful. Now, I just use the planning tools on the Walt Disney World® Resort website and in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. I wish I could have helped you with the pricing but I trust you can speak with a cast member who can get the right details from you to be able to compare pricing for a few different resort hotels. Once you have that trip booked, let the countdown begin!

    Magic and memories,
