If we want to stay in two resorts during our stay, how does this transition work?

    Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so excited to see that you're considering a split stay for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Each hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection provides a unique but equally incredible experience, so it can be so tricky to pick just one! Luckily, with a split stay, you don't have to! I mean, where else can you go from enjoying the giraffes roaming around the African savannah outside your hotel window to overlooking a turn-of-the-century Atlantic City style Boardwalk from your balcony, all in one vacation?

One of the best parts of enjoying a split stay is just how easy the Walt Disney World Resort team makes it to move over to your second resort. All you'll need to do is bring your belongings down to Bell Services by 11 a.m. on the day you check out of your first resort. Let them know that you will be moving to another Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and they will give you a claim ticket. Then, with a sprinkling of pixie dust, POOF, your bags will be waiting for you at your second resort later that same day! How great is that? You won't have to worry about a thing, Jennifer; you can just focus on having fun and enjoying your vacation!

I do want to mention that the Bell Services team will not be able to move any perishable items between resorts. So, if you've ordered any food or snacks to your room, you would need to bring that over yourself.

Jennifer, don't forget to check out the Recreation Activities board in the lobby of each of your hotels, where you'll find the schedule of fun events, activities, and so much more! If you're planning to spend some time by your fabulous resort pool, be sure to note the list of poolside activities on the schedule. You won't want to miss out on the pool games for the little ones and the Disney trivia that's fun for the whole family!

I hope you found this answer helpful! As you continue to plan for your visit, know that we are here to help you make the most of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. So, please visit us again with any questions you may have.

    Have a magical day!
