If you stay at Saratoga Springs, how long is the bus to Magic Kingdom? Also, does it share the bus with another resort? Where does it drop you off at the Magic Kingdom? (main entrance area or transportation and ticket center)

Welcome to planDisney, Kathryn and thanks for stopping by with your question.

Kathryn, I have a trip to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa planned for this summer with my best girlfriends and I'm already counting down the days! Kathryn, I love the relaxing atmosphere of this property and its close proximity to Disney Springs. If you choose this resort with its gentle nod to all of Disney's equine friends for your next stay, I hope you love it like Hercules loved Pegasus!

Now, if you'll be calling this resort your "home away from home," and you're heading to Magic Kingdom Park, let's talk about what you'll find with Disney bus transportation. First, when I have taken this bus from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa to Magic Kingdom Park, the trip took approximately 20-25 minutes. While this resort does NOT share a bus with any other hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection, there are a few internal bus stops, as the resort is quite spread out. You will find stops at the following sections of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa: The Grandstand, The Carousel, The Paddock, Congress Park and The Springs.

Once you're on your way, I'm happy to report that you will be dropped off outside of Magic Kingdom Park at the dedicated bus loop only for Disney Resorts Collection hotels. One of the reasons I love staying in the Magic is that it cuts out the need to visit the Transportation and Ticket Center when I'm on my way to Magic Kingdom Park!

Kathryn, I hope this helps as you're planning ahead. I will also share that as the Walt Disney World Resort continues to operate in state of phased reopening, I encourage you to allow extra travel time, regardless of your destination. Physical distancing measures are in place on Disney buses which increases wait times a bit as fewer guests are able to board at one time. Knowing this and planning ahead really helped my family during our last visit as we arrived at the bus stop prepared to wait and thankful for the enhanced health and safety focus.

Best wishes, Kathryn for a pixie-dusted stay. I hope to see you hEAR again at planDisney with any other questions you might have,
