    If I stay at the Riviera resort, can I walk of to the Caribbean beach resort to use their playground?

    Hi Emily, welcome to planDisney!

    I read "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" to my two-year-old nephew today, which is my inspiration for the following response to your thoughtful question about resort hopping during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation:

    • If you stay at Disney's Riviera Resort, you will want to have breakfast with Mickey and friends at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera.  
    • If you have breakfast at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, you will want to take lots of pictures of the panoramic views from the restaurant's balcony.
    • If you take pictures of the panoramic views from the balcony of Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, you will notice the bright colors of nearby Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.
    • If you notice the bright colors of nearby Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you will want to explore this neighboring resort.
    • If you explore this neighboring resort, you will walk around Barefoot Bay in either direction and see signs to Caribbean Cay Playground. 
    • If you see signs to Caribbean Cay Playground, you will want to play there.
    • If you play there, you will have a great time jumping, climbing, and adventuring before returning to Disney's Riviera Resort for a good night's rest.

    My family enjoyed similar adventures around Barefoot Bay during our recent stay at Disney's Riviera Resort, Emily. For fun, we took the Disney Skyliner from Disney's Riviera Resort Skyliner Station to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Skyliner Station. This did not save us any walking time as Caribbean Cay is located in between the two stations, but Disney transportation is often as fun as an in-park attraction!

    If you're looking for an extra challenge, stop by the Eventi Room at Disney's Riviera Resort and ask about the Skyliner Scavenger Hunt. If you give a motivated Guest a Scavenger Hunt, you never know what adventures may follow!
