Do you have to stay at a resort to use Magic Bands?

    Hi, Carolyn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for visiting us with your great question. I hope you’re looking forward to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation—it’s just around the corner!

While Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel receive MagicBands for free, Guests who are not staying on property at a Disney-owned resort may purchase MagicBands if they wish. The cost is currently $12.95 each, plus tax.

I hope this helps you plan, Carolyn. Please feel free ask us more questions as you put the finishing touches on your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
