    Do you have to stay on property to rent canoes or kayaks? We'll be in Orlando this fall for an extended time and are looking for things to do outside of the park. Our children will be 8,4,& 2. Thanks!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

    You do not have to stay on property to rent the watercraft at Walt Disney World.  Renting a canoe at Fort Wilderness or renting a Sea Raycer (a two person boat) on the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake are two of my children's favorite activities at Walt Disney World.  You can also go cane pole fishing at Fort Wilderness and Port Orleans Riverside.
