stay at port orleans riverside 6/2013. I understand that you can take a boat over to downtown disney from there intead of just the disney bus. About how long is the boat ride to downtown disney from port orleans riverside?

    Hi Kristin!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You can take a boat from Port Orleans Riverside to Downtown Disney.  The trip is dependent in many ways on how many people get off at various locations and whether there is already another boat at a dock when the boat you are on wants to dock.  For example, you will stop at Port Orleans French Quarter when you head to Downtown Disney and sometimes you will come across a boat already there coming from Downtown Disney and you will have to wait until it clears the dock.  On average, however, the trip takes between 15 and 20 minutes and it is very fun and relaxing.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
