We’ll stay at PO-RS, travel to MK, then stay at CBR, go to Boardwalk area, Springs & Epcot and want to take advantage of as many forms of transport as possible (boat, sky, monoR) - how can we? Also will one resort transfer our bags to the other for us?

Hi there Sharla! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'd be happy to assist you.

First of all, you have selected two wonderful resorts for your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I love doing split stays when I travel to Walt Disney World, as it allows me to experience differently themed resort hotels; it feels like two vacations in one! It gets better - Bell Services will assist in the transfer of your luggage from one resort to another, so you can continue enjoying yourself while your bags are transported through the magic of Disney. Simply bring your luggage to the Bell Services desk on the morning you are changing resorts, and let them know exactly where the bags should be sent. Be sure to pack a few essentials with you, as the magical transfer process can take several hours.

My family always utilizes the Walt Disney Transportation System on our vacations. My husband and I love to kick back and let Disney do the driving, and our children enjoy the variety of unique travel options. I'm going to share with you some of the best ways to get around using as many different methods of transportation as possible.

From Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, you will take a bus to reach the Magic Kingdom Park. I always enjoy a relaxing ride on one of Disney's comfortable, air-conditioned motor coaches. Be sure to listen to the background music - it change to fit the theme of your destination! You can also travel to Disney Springs by water craft from here; the charming, tranquil boat ride offers lovely views of nearby resorts.

Once you arrive at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you will have a variety transportation options. To reach Disney Springs, you will again take a ride onboard one of Disney's motor coaches. Mom tip: you are able to view approximate resort bus pick up times from your My Disney Experience app.

Epcot's International Gateway entrance as well as Disney's Boardwalk are accessible via the Disney Skyliner - my new favorite way to travel through the Walt Disney World Resort. If your family enjoys water craft transportation, the Friendship Boats will take you to all of the resorts along Disney's Boardwalk as well as to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Finally, for personalized transportation services anywhere within the Walt Disney World Resort, consider using Disney Minnie Van™ Service Connected by Lyft.

I hope that helps you make your way around the world, Sharla! If you have any other questions before your adventures begin, come back and see us anytime.

You've got a friend in me!
