Welcome to planDisney, Neil.
It's not long now until you'll be driving through that famous archway and arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth. On a scale of 1-10, how excited are you right now? Probably 11, right?! You're going to absolutely love staying at
Disney's Pop Century Resort too! I'm a big fan of all the nostalgic tokens around this hotel. All of the oversized toys make you feel like you're in a real-life Toy Story. You'll also have easy access to
Disney Skyliner too! This is my favorite way to travel at Walt Disney World.
Neil, you'll be glad to know that you can have groceries delivered to this Resort. You don't even need to be there to accept the order! Just make sure your full name is listed as the recipient on the order so that Bell Services knows to whom the order belongs. You can place your order through one of the many grocery delivery services (e.g. InstaCart, Garden Grocer, etc.) and tell them to deliver it to the following address:
Disney's Pop Century Resort
1050 Century Drive
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8433
Once you're ready to pick up your items, stop by Bell Services and let them know your name. They'll then get your order from the storage area.
For a small fee, you can even have Bell Services bring your groceries to your room. However, you won't be charged if you bring them up yourself. Also, be aware that Bell Services can't accept age-restricted items (e.g. alcohol). If these are included in your order, you'll need to be present during delivery to show your photo ID.
My planDisney pal,
Cindy, literally just stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort. Although she didn't get the exact dimensions of the refrigerator, she told me that you should expect a standard mini-fridge, with three shelves, some door storage, but no freezer.
Lastly, if you're not traveling outside of Walt Disney World Resort (I mean, why would anyone do such a thing?), you won't need cash for anything. In fact, Disney encourages Guests to utilize low-contact payment methods, such as mobile wallets, credit/debit cards, or even Disney Gift Cards.
I hope you have a magical trip, Neil. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Mike
