I have a stay planned in the near future and want to extend it by a day, can this be done online?

    Hi Dean,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question about modifying your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package online.  I am so glad that you are planning on staying at Walt Disney World Resort for an extra day, more Disney magic is always a good thing!

Some reservations can be modified online by logging into your My Disney Experience Account on the Walt Disney World website.  Select "My Plans" from the drop down menu under the "My Disney Experience" tab.  You should be able to see all of your plans under "My Itinerary" and to the right of your Resort Details you should see a button that says "Change Reservation".  Follow the prompts to see if you are able to modify your existing reservation.  If not, I recommend calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and a Cast Member will be able to assist with your request.  Also, once you have modified your reservation, be sure to add another Theme Park Reservation if you are planning on visiting a Theme Park for your extra day.

I hope you are able to extend your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Dean.  If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us at planDisney again.  We are always happy to help.
