We are stay onsite but my parents aren’t. If they join us for breakfast at our hotel 1 morning are they able to use the transport to Magic Kingdom afterwards?

Welcome back to planDisney, Gillian! We're truly honoured to be part of your planning journey. It’s so exciting that your parents will join you for a delicious breakfast at your Disney Resort hotel before heading to Magic Kingdom Park! They’ll be more than welcome to join you on Disney Resort Transportation, making it easy for you all to travel together. The Resorts around Magic Kingdom Park offer a few magical transportation options, so you can choose whichever suits your mood that day.

First up is Walt Disney World Monorail. This classic mode of Disney transportation is a fan favourite for good reason! The Monorail will whisk you away to Magic Kingdom Park in smooth, air-conditioned carriages. It also offers fantastic views of the Resorts and the Park as you glide along - what a great way to start your Disney day with a little extra pixie dust!

Next, there's Walt Disney World Water Transportation. If you prefer a more serene journey, head to the Resort’s water launch docks for a peaceful boat ride to Magic Kingdom Park. The gentle passage across the water is perfect for soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying some relaxation before diving into the excitement of the park. Just keep in mind that in the case of inclement weather, the boats may not be able to launch.

Again, both transportation options are available to everyone in your party, so your parents can easily join you on this magical journey to the park.

You also have the option to take a leisurely 10-minute walk to Magic Kingdom Park if you’re planning to dine at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This beautiful stroll along the water is a great way to walk off your meal and enjoy the scenic views as you make your way to the park.

Whichever option you choose, getting to Magic Kingdom Park will be just as magical as the day ahead. I hope you and your parents have an absolutely whimsical time!
