Should we stay for one week or less?

    Hi Amanda,

Trying to decide how long to plan a vacation at Disney World is largely a personal decision that depends on a number of factors, including your budget, available vacation time and the number of attractions and/or parks that you are interested in seeing.  Are you a first-time visitor who wants to see and experience the "must-sees" in all of the parks, or are you a return visitor who wants to focus on some new attractions and old favorites.  Do you have special needs children, for whom being away from home, school or their routine for a week or more would be too disruptive?  One thing I have learned is that seeing and doing everything is simply not possible in one (or, for that matter, many) trips.

My family's airline tickets often comprise the biggest expense on our vacations, therefore, I usually try to stay as long as my husband's vacation schedule will permit.  Currently, Disney World is offering a number of promotions, including a "Buy Four/Get Three" deal, including tickets for many nights through June 2009.  Click HERE for details as well as for other current promotions.  If you are able to spend the same amount on a 7 day trip as you would a 4 day vacation, why not!

    Have a wonderful time!
