We want to stay at one of the resorts for a weekend vaction. Which resort offers a great experience for my 7 year son who loves pools and slides.

    Hey Charlene!

I'm going to share with you my Family's favorite pool, but first, here is a link that gives a small description of all the pools at Disney Resorts:
    Walt Disney World Resort Pools

The most amazing pool that my family has experienced in Disney World is Stormalong Bay pool which is shared by Disney's Beach Club Resort & Disney's Yacht Club Resort.

Last year, when my kids were 6 and 9 they were absolutely speechless when they first saw it before running all crazy like to the water!  Seriously, they haven't been that quiet since.

Stormalong Bay is 3 whole acres of sand bottomed water fun.  There is a lazy river where you can just float along and there is a huge shipwreck to explore that leads kids up to one of the highest water slides at a Disney Resort. My kids were timid about the water slide at first, but that didn't last long and they still talk about that slide and pool a year later!

There are lots of lovely quiet nooks in the pool, too, which is where I hid out most of the day.  The pool is so big it's like a water park. I'm sure we didn't even see all that it had to offer..once the kids found that slide it was all they wanted.  I was happy to see lots of lifeguards on duty stationed all around Stormalong Bay.

I hope you have a great time in Disney!
