We would like to stay at one of the resort hotels. Can we check in first thing in the morning so we can go to one of the parks and have the hotel keep our luggage until our room is ready later in the day? Thanks!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susanne.

You're absolutely welcome to check in at Hotel Registration when you arrive early in the morning. That's what my family and I often do whenever we fly into Southern California early in the morning. Usually, we will receive the hotel room key and other documents during the check-in process. You can present your hotel room key, along with valid theme park admission tickets, to take advantage of Extra Magic Hour at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, depending on the day. Since your hotel room will not be available until at least early afternoon, you can leave your luggage at the Bell Desk so that you can enjoy the Disneyland Resort. When your room is cleaned and ready, you'll receive a text message.

The same process is also true when you check out of your Disneyland Resort hotel room as well. You can store your bags at Bell Desk to explore the parks or Downtown Disney District. When you're ready to head home, you can simply head back to Bell Desk to pick up your belongings.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Susanne. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have an enchanted day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
