Can you stay at one resort and use the facilities at another?

Hello Kevin! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I really enjoy spending time at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Over the years I've almost stayed at all of them and have had great experiences at each one. Even if I am not staying there, one of the favorite things to do is hop over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for a drink at the Tambu Lounge. This is absolutely okay to do! In fact, you can dine, shop and explore at any resort that you would like. During Christmastime several resorts have lifesize gingerbread houses and figures that my family and I enjoy seeing. We make an afternoon out of it grabbing snacks and drinks at each of the resorts along the way. If you are wanting to use the pool facilities at a different resort than the one you are staying at, this isn't allowed. The pools are reserved for Guests staying at that resort. There is an exception to this rule, however. At Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Guests staying at any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel have the ability to rent a cabana at either one of those resort pools for the day.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
