Hi, Kelly! The answer is yes - well, sort of! You can definitely mix tickets, using some on a Magic Your Way package, and other tickets that you purchase separately. Here is the catch - depending on the package you choose or the special offer that you are using, there is sometimes a minimum days of tickets that need to be included.
I know when I traveled in August, I qualified for Free Dining, but I had to purchase a minimum of 2 days of tickets for each person in my party. Because I already had other park tickets, I purchased just the 2 days of tickets on my package, used my other tickets for the remainder of my days, and still qualified for the Free Dining for each night of my stay.
Just remember that the Disney Dining Plan credits are based on the number of nights of your stay, you must include theme park tickets (number depends on package,) and you must be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. Always read the details of a package closely to make sure you are getting exactly what you want when you are booking.
Hope this helps! If you need more information, call a Disney Reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY or drop us another question here at
