Hi Sarah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm excited to be helping a fellow Texan! I'm happy to say that any and every Walt Disney World Resort visitor, no matter where they staying, is a Guest of Mickey Mouse and all of his pals. So yes, you are more than welcome to utilize Disney's Theme Park and Resort Transportation options to park hop or even visit Disney's Resort Hotels to dine and take in the scenery.
Do note that
Disney Resort Bus Transportation between Disney's Theme Parks and
Disney Springs runs between 4 P.M. until 11 P.M. daily. You can, however, catch a Disney Bus at Disney Springs to any of
Disney's Resort Hotels and then catch your desired park bound bus earlier in the day. There is also a
Ferryboat that travels up a beautiful waterway between Disney Springs and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter as well as Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. You could boat to one of the Ports (French Quarter has Mickey shaped beignets!) and then catch your correct bus. Do allow two hours for total transportation time if going with either of these options.
Pro Tip: Disney's Deluxe Resort Hotels are beautiful and should definitely be visited. But don't overlook Disney's Value Resort Hotels as you can usually find larger than life statues and icons of your Disney favorites. The residents of Radiator Springs make for great photo opportunities at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, but you can also find Pongo and Perdita at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Lady and the Tramp at Disney's Pop Century Resort, and so many more!
We'll See You Real Soon, Sarah!
