Hello, Brenda. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I think you'll be happy to know that you can indeed leave and return to the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks throughout the day! If you have a
standard base ticket, where you are able to visit 1 park per day, you can leave and re-enter the same park. If you have a
park hopper ticket, you can leave and enter other parks as you wish. When my family and I vacation at
Walt Disney World, we enjoy being at the parks early in the morning. It's sometimes unbelievable how many must-dos we are able to check off of our list before 10:00 a.m. Around lunch time, we like to head back to our hotel for some swimming. That's when the parks are at their busiest and it's a nice reprieve from the Florida heat! After dinner, we enjoy heading back to the parks for the night time firework show and more attractions. It's a great way to plan the day. Also, you are absolutely able to make dining reservations at any Walt Disney World restaurant. Reservations open 180 days in advance and looking at your travel dates you can go ahead and do those now. If you are looking for some suggestions, some of my favorite restaurants are
Cape May Cafe,
California Grill, Beaches & Cream Soda Shop and
'Ohana. If you choose to eat at 'Ohana for dinner, try to get a reservation about an hour before the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park. The restaurant dims the lights and pipes in music from the show. It's a great way to end an amazing day!
I hope this helps, Brenda. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
