Hi Kim,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by today with your question about Disney Vacation Club Points. I love the flexibility that comes with a Disney Vacation Club Membership - there are so many ways to use
Vacation Points to create your ideal getaway!
You can use your DVC Vacation Points to stay at a
Disney Vacation Club Resort or even exchange them for Reservation Points to explore options beyond DVC. These include stays at Disney Collection resorts,
Disney Cruise Line sailings,
Adventures by Disney, and a variety of hotels around the world!
Interval International offers several different vacation types:
- Interval Vacation Exchanges (7 consecutive nights)
- Interval ShortStay Exchanges (1-6 nights)
- Interval Getaways (7 nights)
- Interval ShortStay Getaways (1-6 nights)
- Hotel Exchange (1-28 nights)
To search for hotels in a specific city, start by logging into your DVC account. From the “Plan Vacation” tab, select “Manage Interval International Vacations,” then click the blue “Book with Interval Online” button to head over to the Interval International site. Once there, you’ll see your DVC Vacation Points displayed. Select the “Exchange” tab, choose “Hotel Exchange,” then enter your desired city and travel dates to browse available hotel options. I tried searching for hotels in New York City and many popped up, I hope you'll find one that works for you!
I highly recommend connecting with Member Services to speak with an Advisor. They will be able to answer any questions you might have and can assist with booking.
I hope this information is helpful as you plan your vacation, Kim. If you have any additional DVC or vacation planning questions, please revisit planDisney!
Happy planning,
Candace
