Hi Mary,
Thanks for stopping by the
Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Let me help you plan that awesome vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney's
Complimentary Resort Transportation, consisting of buses, boats and the world famous Walt Disney World Monorail System, are available for use by all Guests, regardless of where they are staying. They provide transportation between Resort Hotels and the Theme Parks, and also within Theme Parks. They also provide transportation between Resort Hotels and Disney Springs. Yeah, it's free!
Since you'll be staying off-site, if you drive and park at a Theme Park, you have a couple of options if you decide to go to a different Theme Park or a Resort hotel.
Parking is available throughout the Resort, and Guests pay only one fee per day to be able to park at a Theme Park. So you may drive from one park to the next and simply show the booth attendant your same-day parking ticket. But you may also use the buses or monorail to travel between Theme Parks. Just be aware that transportation to and from a Theme Park is available up to two hours after a park closes.
I'm sure you have a lot more questions. So feel free to come back and we'll help you out.
Ricardo.
