We are stay 4 nights at the yacht club and one night at the port orleans French qt. What is the easiest way to transfer our luggage from one resort to the next?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Rosiland!

When we visit Walt Disney World Resort, my family loves to split our stay between two Disney Resorts Collection hotels –– because of the incredible theming and unique offerings at each Disney Resort, it's almost like getting two vacations in one.  I'm so excited to hear that you have an upcoming split stay planned for Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as we do!

While changing Resorts might seem a little intimidating, the incredibly-helpful Bell Services Cast Members make this an easy process.  On the morning of your transfer to Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter, all you need to do is bring your luggage down to the Bell Services desk or call to have it picked up from your room, and let a Bell Services Cast Member know that you'll be transferring to a new Resort.  And that's really all there is to it –– Bell Services will take care of transferring your luggage to your new Resort, free of charge, and you can head out for a day of fun at the parks!  Once you arrive at your new hotel and your room is ready, simply drop by the Bell Services desk or place a call from your room, and they will be happy to deliver your luggage to you.

Let me share just a few things to remember when transferring your luggage, to help make the process as seamless as possible.  When calling to have your luggage picked up from your room on the morning of your transfer, keep in mind that it can take up to 30 minutes for Bell Services to arrive.  If you're planning to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry or you have an early dining reservation, be sure to give yourself enough time to have your luggage picked up and travel to your destination.  Also, it can take several hours for your luggage to arrive at your new Resort, so if there's anything you might need from your bags during the morning and early afternoon (like medication, device chargers, etc.), I recommend keeping those with you.

Thanks for bringing another question to planDisney, Rosiland.  I'm wishing you and your family lots of pixie dust during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
