If I stay 4 nights at Disney resort with 5 day ticket package and spend last 2 days of trips off resort, can we still attend the fireworks shows at the parks on those last 2 nights with our regular ticket? What will we lose out on?

Hey there, Stacy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're so glad you stopped by!

Coordinating more than one hotel stay can be a bit tricky, but you're in the right place. First, while you are enjoying your four nights at the Disney Resort Hotel of your choice, there are some benefits and perks including Extra Magic Hours. Extra Magic Hours can occur at all four theme parks and are either before park opening or after park close. You can find out more specifics by checking the Park Hours calendar

While I love taking advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, the good news is that these do not affect the Fireworks & Nighttime Spectaculars. Meaning- if you are planning to visit Magic Kingdom Park with a standard admission ticket, on a day you are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can still enjoy Happily Ever After (my favorite show) even if the park has Extra Magic Hours for hotel guests later that evening.

My best recommendation is to check the Park Hours before deciding which park to attend on which day, that way you can maximize your time! Also, make sure you think about transportation on the days you won't be staying on Walt Disney World Resort property.

Stacy, I hope this helps as you are mapping out your vacation. Come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have!
