If I stay the night at a Disney hotel Wednesday night and get up and go to the park Thursday, do I get to enjoy the extra magic hours that day if I’m stay in a normal non Disney hotel Thursday night?

    Hello Kelsey!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question!

One of the many perks of being a Disney Resort hotel Guest is being able to take advantage of your benefits until midnight of the date of check-out. Although you have to leave your Guest room by the designated check-out time, you will still be able to enjoy complimentary transportation, complimentary standard self-parking at the theme parks, Disney Dining Plan entitlements, and Extra Magic Hours. Please note that after check-out you will not be able to use your MagicBand to pay for purchases, dining expenses, and other experiences.

Kelsey, did you know that you can conveniently rent a car with the companies located at the Disney Car Care Center? This is what I usually do when moving from a Disney Resort hotel to another hotel in the Orlando area during our visits. I enjoy complimentary transportation while staying at a Disney Resort hotel, and simply schedule a shuttle service to pick me up at any location at the Walt Disney World Resort to take me to the Car Care Center to pick up my rental car. This service is available for Disney Resort hotel Guests renting a car from Alamo Rent-a-Car or National Car Rental.

I hope this helps you while planning, Kelsey! Please stop by real soon if you have more questions!

    Best magical wishes,
