Hi there, Julie, and welcome to planDisney!
A September visit to
Walt Disney World Resort sounds like the perfect way to wrap up the Summer season. The
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will likely be in full swing, allowing you to dive into tasty treats as well as swimming pools during your vacation.
I just returned from a weekend at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, and in my opinion, Disney's All-Star Resorts are some of the best-kept secrets The Most Magical Place on Earth has to offer. With their refurbished rooms, fun theming, proximity to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and
benefits available to Disney Resort hotel guests (including access to theme parks
30 minutes before they open to the public), it's hard to beat the value they offer at their price point. I can never decide if I want to shout my adoration for these underrated resorts from the rooftops so they get the respect they deserve, or if I would rather channel my inner seagull and keep them all 'Mine! Mine! Mine!'
No matter your favorite Disney film, you're bound to love your stay at Disney All-Star Movies Resort. As a dog mom, I'm partial to the 101 Dalmatians Section, while my husband can't get enough of the larger-than-life Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story Section. Because my favorite swimming pool is located in the
Calypso Section of Disney's All-Star Music Resort, I'm happy to share that as a guest of All-Star Movies, you can enjoy any of Disney's All-Star Resorts' six pools.
Since you're planning to spend some leisure time at your Resort hotel, I encourage you to purchase a
Resort-Refillable Mug on the first day of your stay. This will give you access to unlimited refills at any Disney Resort hotel (so take it with you as you pool-hop like an All-Star) for up to 14 days.
I hope this was helpful, Julie, and that you love Disney's All-Star Resorts as much as I do! Don't hesitate to
stop back by with any additional questions. I'm happy to help!
You've got a friend in me,
Lizzie
