hi i stay in miami.. i want to gift disney florida resident tickets for my sister and her family who stay in a different location and coming to meet me for a few days.. i wont be able to go with them to the theme parks... is it ok?? thank you

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Praveena!

Florida residents like you are so lucky for a number of reasons and one of them is that you have access to a number of special deals and ticket options that aren't available to residents of other states and countries. Make sure to bookmark this page so you always know what offers are available to you throughout the year!

It's so generous of you to want to purchase Theme Park tickets for your family when they come to visit you. Guests with Florida resident tickets need to provide proof of residency when they use their admission for the first time, so unfortunately, you are not able to gift those tickets to your family members who live out-of-state. If your plans change and you do become able to visit the Theme Parks with your family this week, it is possible for you to purchase tickets for anyone with you who is under the age of 18 but you must be present to validate your Florida residency when the tickets are used.

If your sister is looking for deals on tickets, Resort Hotel stays, or anything else, tell her to have a look at the Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts page so she can be aware of all of the ways that she can save money on her trip to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day, Praveena!
