We would like to stay at magic kingdom for 3 nights and are a family of 5 - 2 adults, 3 children aged 9, 7 and 2 years. on line I cannot book a standard type room with bunk beds but I thought the 2 year old would be allowed in a cot until 3 years old?

    Hi there, Lisa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You've come to the right place to get all the answers you need!

At Walt Disney World Resort, children under the age of 3 do not count towards the total number of occupants in a resort room. So you are absolutely right in that your family could stay in a standard room that sleeps four people and your youngest child could sleep in a Pack n Play crib. I am not sure why you are having trouble booking this type of room online, but I would suggest that you call 407-WDISNEY (407-934-7639) and let a Reservation Specialist help you. My children absolutely love staying in the rooms with bunk beds, and I'm sure yours will too. So just make that phone call to book your reservation and then you can begin to count the days until your upcoming vacation!

If there's anything else we can do to help, just let us know. I hope your family has an amazing time at Walt Disney World and you make lots of magical memories!

    Happy planning!
