Can you stay in the Magic Kingdom to eat after 6 pm if you do not have a Halloween Party ticket for that night?

    Hi Margaret!

Thanks for coming back to see us to ask another awesome question! You are going to have such a magical fall vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, autumn is my favorite time to visit. Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and announcements about everything you will be able to experience during your vacation!

On select evenings in the fall, Magic Kingdom closes at 6:00 p.m. so it can host Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which begins at 7:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m., only Guests with tickets to that evening’s party will be able to enjoy the theme park’s attractions, entertainment and dining and Guests without party tickets will be directed to the park exit. So if you don’t have tickets to that evening’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you won’t be able to visit restaurants in Magic Kingdom after the theme park closes at 6:00 p.m.

If you won’t be attending the party, you have some fantastic dining options to enjoy outside of Magic Kingdom. You could visit one of the restaurants at the Disney Resort hotels near Magic Kingdom. I just got back from a quick trip to Walt Disney World Resort and we had fantastic meals at ‘Ohana and California Grill, which are some of my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. You could also visit Disney Springs to enjoy one of its awesome restaurants, such as Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ or Morimoto Asia. Then after your meal, you can explore the incredible entertainment and shopping that Disney Springs has to offer!

Let us know if you have additional questions that we can help you with as your vacation approaches! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
