To stay late for the extra magic hours at magic kingdom and Epcot, is there anything we need except for our magic bands (we are staying in a Disney resort)? Also, how does this work, are other guests made to leave or do their magic bands just stop working?

Hello Colleen, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love Extra Magic Hours at Walt Disney World theme parks. It is a great way to experience some of my favorite rides and attractions with smaller crowds.

Since you are a Resort Hotel guest, you will be able to enjoy select rides and attractions at Epcot. In order to enter the ride or attraction, a Cast Member will scan your MagicBands to verify that you are indeed a guest of a Resort Hotel. Guests who cannot be verified will not be permitted to access the ride or attraction. Keep in mind a valid theme park admission is required. If you do not have the Park Hopper Option, you must spend your day in the park offering Extra Magic Hour Evenings. Park hours are always subject to change, so check with a Cast Member for updates. Your magical vacation will be here before you know it. If you have any more questions, please come back and visit us.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
