    Where to stay? I'm planning a 1st time trip for April 2013 for 2 adults and 3 kids under 9. We would like to be close to Epcot or Magic Kingdom. We're struggling with where to stay? Looking at Beach Club, Arts of Animation and others! Really confused!

    Hi, Brian!

    There are so many great resort options when planning a visit to Walt Disney World!   Let me give you some options:

    If you want to stay close to Epcot, I suggest the Beach Club.  Your kids will love the Stormalong Bay pool, and the walk to Epcot is only about 5 - 7 minutes.  You can also walk to Hollywood Studios, though I suggest taking the boat as it would be a bit of a hike with 3 Mouseketeers in tow!

    For close proximity to the Magic Kingdom, try my favorite:  the Polynesian.  From this tropical resort, you are just a short monorail ride to the Magic Kingdom.  From the beach, you can see Cinderella Castle and you will have a great view of the park's nightly fireworks.  To get to Epcot, you can take a short walk through your resort to the Transportation and Ticket Center and hop on a monorail that will zoom you over to Epcot.

    The Art of Animation is Disney's newest resort and boasts wonderful Family Suites.  The suites are spacious and have kitchenettes, but you will have to take buses to get to any of the parks.

    All are wonderful choices.  I think the Polynesian is the best of all worlds, and is so amazing with a great pool area, pool slide, nice food court, and perfect for families.  The best part is that no matter where you stay, you are going to have a magical vacation.  There are no wrong choices, so decide what suits your family best.   Have fun deciding!
