we want to stay at the hyatt at the airport the night before our cruise. is it better to book it myself or let disney do it?

    Hello, Kathy!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney. It sounds like you are planning an upcoming sailing aboard the Disney Cruise Line. How fun! My family loves everything about sailing on a Disney Cruise! The entertainment is spectacular, the Youth Clubs keep my kids happy for hours, and we can enjoy many fun experiences together as a family.

I booked my family's post-cruise stay at Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport through Disney Cruise Line last year. I liked having all of my plans connected in one place. It also makes it a breeze to use Disney Cruise Line ground transportation. We visited Walt Disney World Resort before our Disney Cruise and stayed at Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport afterward. Using Disney Cruise Line ground transportation to and from our Disney Cruise was super simple and easy! Information on reserving your stay at Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport can be found on the Disney Cruise Line website.

My family had so much fun staying at Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport! Watching travelers head to their gates from our hotel room was a unique experience. My kids especially loved the outdoor pool! It is located next to the airport runway, and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. I ordered takeout from McCoy’s Bar & Grill To-Go while the kids splashed in the pool. It was the perfect way to end our fantastic vacation!

Make sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before your voyage! It has many helpful tools to assist you before and during your Disney Cruise. Onboard Experiences and Port Adventures can be reserved on the app during your booking window, and my kids like checking the countdown calendar for our next cruise on the app. After boarding the ship, the app can be used to view entertainment schedules, find dining locations, and chat with other Guests traveling in your party.

Kathy, thank you again for reaching out to planDisney. Have a magical cruise!

    Happy sailing!
    Jen
